WISEarth™ True Stop® is mound drench fire ant killer that completely kills all of the queens and workers through a patent-pending process that mimics the natural occurrence of death in ants, explained Heather Farrar, WISEarth’s vice president of sales.

“What distinguishes True Stop from other fire ant products is that it does not alert the fire ant colony--and the queens in particular--that there is a threat to the nest. Instead it causes the colony to die a natural death,” she said. “Within two weeks the entire colony including all of the queens will be killed.”

True Stop also meets all the requirements for the State of Texas as a green pesticide, Farrar noted.

WISEarth also makes an organic liquid fertilizer based on cow’s manure that has been organically cleansed of harmful bacteria and plans to offer it for sale through EatGreenDFW in the coming weeks.
